Brilliant! Great service, very accommodating for my gluten free requests and lovely views. The breakfast was delicious and my boys ate everything on their plates! Can't wait to come again. Such amazing service the lady let my little boy sit wherever he wanted as he wanted a window seat! And treats for the dogs! Our last holiday breakfast was one to remember thank you xx

After browsing the rip-off cafes, fishchips 26, along the promenade we finally came to Bell Cliff. We had eaten here some years ago and what a pleasant surprise this visit was as it hadn't changed. I opted for "Gammon & egg with chips etc" while my wife went for "Lasagne with chips etc", absolutely terrific and good value. Nice window table and very doggy friendly with nice welcoming staff, it made our day. You can have a table outside with fine views of the bay but today was too cold for us.

Great little cafe just off the beach, right by all the attractions. We sat at a window looking at the fossil shops and the sea which was very wild today. Lovely food, great quality and portions were perfect. And the staff couldn't do enough for us happy to chat and tell us information. Coffee was great as well. Thank you for a great breakfast x

This was our first visit. Most restaurants you have to wait for a member of the service team to. This is a relatively small establishment so no sooner had we walked in the door, a member of staff welcomed us. We were seated right away and once we ordered, it wasn't long before our food turned up. My wife had fish and chips with salad instead of peas. She enjoyed her meal very much. I had beef Lasagne served with chips and salad. I didn't want the salad so my wife had it. (See picture) The chips were a little dry for my liking and lacking a little flavour but of course you can season to taste. The Lasagne was lovely and flavoursome. I'd definitely choose it again.

Dropped into Bell Cliff Sunday, late morning for full brekky. So hard to find somewhere for a good hearty breakfast out of the cold while walking the dog, most other places offering coffee and biscuits etc sat under brolleys and awnings. Met by very friendly and efficient staff, nothing was a problem, food served quickly with a proper china pot of tea. Breakfast was cooked very well thank you, nice mushrooms, lovely eggs etc. Attentive staff cleared table and were very friendly to our dog offering a treat, so we all felt welcome. We spent 28.50 with a tip. Definitely dropping back into here for morning walks. Thank you. The cafe is full of character with it's wooden beams and floor. A traditional British cafe, good value, great location.

Been to Lyme so many times...first time here ..it was the rain and the wind that drove us in but the menu caught our eye. Friendly and accommodating staff, great atmosphere with history....the views from the window are great. The home made soup was out if this world...the best Mushroom soup I've tasted in a long while came with a huge chunk of tasty warm bread with plenty of butter and a cheese panni which I was not expecting which was lush,no cheap plastic cheese.Tasty mature Cheddar....5 stars!!

Had a wonderful meal, my husband had mussels with a creamy sauce and chips. I had whitebait with salad. Both of our meals were very generous portion wise, so much, my husband couldn't eat all the mussels! Attentive, but unobtrusive staff, very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.
